The Ocean-Tremble

Muuurr! Muuurr! Muuurr!  “So, Jo, what really is the problem about heading into the Ocean?” said Laren.

“W-Aaaahhh! Woooah!” said Jo. The giant boat shaked and banged as if it hit a big rock or scraped land.

“AAH! Jo, what just happehed?” Laren asked.

“I don’t kn-” Again, for the third time, Jo got cut of by a speaker that said “We are sorry, all passengers. we have got to close to the side of the channel and hit ground.”

“Uughh…” said Laren

“No, ‘AHHH’, said Jo.

“Well, Yeah, ‘AAH’ works for me,” Laren replied

The speaker continued, “as a result, we will have to stop early at Usgethumuth, a small city between Island City and Gulf Pier.

“Ouch!!” said Jo.

“What?” asked Laren.

“Usgethumuth sells nasty hamburgers!!!” said Jo.

“Oh…..” said Laren. 

Into the Gulf

As the massive liner pulled out into the Gulf, Jo started wandering off to find the Bar and the upper deck.  Laren just stayed there with a lot of other people and watched as the crew pulled in the ropes, and get ready for a long trip.  After a while, Laren started to wonder where Jo went, so he went to the Bar.  Jo wasn’t at the bar when Laren went there, so he asked the bartender if he had seen a person named ”Jo” and the he said “Yes, he came up here, bought a coke and asked me if I saw a person named ‘Laren’ “

“Well that’s me. Which way did he go?” asked Laren.

“He went that way,” the bartender said as he pointed to the stairs. “Up those stairs and on the upper deck.”

So Laren headed for the stairs. When he got there, Laren just stood there and started to daydream. 

A few minutes later, Jo called from the top of the stairs “Hey Laren, come up here and see this!” Laren popped right up and hurried up the stairs. 

 ”Quick, hurry up!” Jo said. When Laren got to the top, he saw Gwaz right on the horizon. This see time he could actually see it. He was for sure of that.

“Is it just a dream?” he said as he stared at Gwaz. 

“LAREN!! Pay attention!” Jo said.

“What?” Laren asked.

“Look at how big my hot dog is!” Jo finally said.

“Wha, ere, um…” Laren didn’t know what to say. ”uh, that’s cool Jo,”

“Wow!” said Jo

“What now?” Laren mumbled.  

“We-” Jo got cut of by a speaker that said “All passengers, we are now pulling into the East Channel, North of Difar”

“Oh, no,” said Jo.

“What?” Laren said

“We are about to pull into the ocean,” Jo said

“Well, what’s so bad about that?” Laren asked.

   

   

Beginning the Cruise

As Laren woke up he thought it be a normal Saturday, yawned, and rolled over.  He rolled over to the right-side of his bed, and saw his calender with the word marked ‘CRUISE!’ on the day of August 18th.  He got up not wanting to scream, because he did not have enough energy to.  He got, up brushed his teeth, and got dressed.  He opened the door and walked out halfway, but then remembered that now he had enough energy to partly-scream for joy. So, he ran into his pillow and screamed.  He got back up like nothing happened.  He started his 38-meter walk to Jo’s room, 19 to the elevator 0 in the elevator and 19 on Jo’s level (Laren lives on level 3, Jo lives on level 5, and there is 6 levels in the building). When Laren got up to Jo’s room he knocked on his door and a split-second later Jo beamed out, charging Laren to the floor. “AAAH! Jo! whats going on with you? Laren yelled.

“Uhh.. I’m just so happy to be going on a cruise to New Gwata!”

“Oh, well then come on!” Laren said “Do you have everything?”

“I think so.” Jo said “Will there be a bar or snack bar on the cruise?”

“Of course!” said Laren

They walked down the hallway, got to the elevator, pressed the button and waited, and waited. They played 2 rounds of rock, paper, scissors. Then, After awile, The elevator beeped and they walked in and pushed the button *L*.

 Down at the parking lot, they got in their car and drove to the dock. The whole time, they barely talked, for they were to exited about the cruise. When they got to the dock they walked up to the biggest ship in the dock, it said ‘Gwatan sunset IV’ they walked on and another person closed the gate, and thy herd a loud MUUUURRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!! from the top of the ship.

Laren’s First Stage

Laren lives in Gulf Pier City, right of of Gulf of Gwaz. He can see Difar across its channel, and to his left far out there he could almost see Gwaz on the horizon.  “I can see Gwaz, barely, but it could just be my imagination” he says.  Laren lives in apartments, and he is planning on moving soon. he walks down to the bar.  He walks up and sits down next to his friend, Jo.  “Wouldn’t it be nice if we could live in the Malopiith tower?” Jo said. 

“We cant live in it,” Laren replies. “It only has hotels and offices.” 

Jo called the bartender and got another coke.  “Well, you know what I mean,” he said. “if we could own the place or bought  a room.” 

Laren turned away and rolled his eyes.  He turned back and said: “We can’t buy or rent anything up there!” he freaked out more than both of them expected. 

“Now calm down, Laren, hey remember those raffle tickets you signed?” Jo asked. 

“Yes!”  Laren said. 

 ”Well then look behind you!” And Laren did. He turned around and they saw a sign on the wall that said ‘THE LOCAL RAFFLE > winners: Laren and Jo!  winners win a cruise to New Gwata City!’ Laren jumped to his knees. He tried not to scream for joy. They both ran to Laren’s room a scream came out.

The next hour it was 9:00 PM.  Jo was back in his room.     As Laren was in his room, he said to himself: tomorrow will be a big day.  

Introduction to Laren

Laren is a random person in Gwata.  Well, not really random, he is my character, or guy in Gwata.  Attention: I am not Laren! Remember that.  Don’t let it slip through your mind.  Now you will hear stories about him and, well, he is the “weblog” part of this “website”.
